Flow of the course

About this spot

A facility conveying the history of Lake Tanzawa (丹沢湖), which was created by the construction of Miho Dam (三保ダム). It displays photos introducing the birth of the lake, as well as Jomon-period earthenware excavated from the surrounding area. The adjacent Miho House (三保の家) is a late-Edo-period farmhouse relocated and restored here, letting visitors feel the life of the village before it was submerged beneath the lake. Admission is free, and rental bicycles and boats can also be arranged here.
