Kosugezawa Bridge (こすげざわ橋)

Flow of the course

About this spot

A bridge over the forest road in the Kurokura area (玄倉), deep beyond Lake Tanzawa, and an autumn-leaf spot sometimes introduced as a hidden gem of Kanagawa. Viewing is free and open to anyone. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes on foot along the forest road from the free parking lot at the former Lake Tanzawa Visitor Center. From atop the bridge you can look down over autumn leaves filling the valley, and if you descend from the foot of the bridge, a world of autumn leaves seen from below opens up instead. It is a place to enjoy a quiet mountain autumn, free of the crowds found at famous tourist spots.
