About this spot
'Kirara@Art Shin-Yuri' (kirara@アートしんゆり) is a winter tradition of Shin-Yuri (しんゆり), the 'town of art,' held around the south and north exits of Shin-Yurigaoka Station (新百合ヶ丘駅). The olive tree-lined avenue, Maple Street (マプレ), and the trees near the north exit are wrapped in illuminations, and your stroll through the lights begins right as you leave the station. In the previous year it ran from November 15, 2025 to February 14, 2026, with lights on from 17:00 to 24:00. The 2026-27 schedule and lighting hours have not yet been announced, so please check the official website before heading out. Admission is free.

Right after the lights turn on, around 5 PM, the sky still has a blue tint, making for beautiful photos. The south and north exits have different atmospheres, so we recommend walking through both to compare.
