A major illumination event that ranks among the largest in the greater Tokyo area, with the entire Yomiuriland amusement park decorated in jewel-themed lights. It typically runs from late October through early April the following year; last year it ran October 23, 2025 to April 5, 2026 (149 days excluding closure days, with no illumination on weekdays from March 2 to 13, 2026), with lights on from 16:00 to 20:30. The 2026-27 schedule, lighting hours, and pricing have not yet been announced, so be sure to check the official website before you go. Viewing requires the amusement park's admission fee. Looking down at the sea of lights from the Ferris wheel is a treat unique to this season.

If you are in the park at the moment the lights come on, you can watch the light spread across the whole park all at once. It gets cold at the nighttime rides, so gloves are reassuring for kids. Prices and operating hours vary by day, so check the official website for the latest information.
