About this spot
Two Western-style buildings within Italian Hill Garden, both free to enter, open 9:30-17:00. The Diplomat's House, once a Meiji-era diplomatic residence, and Bluff No. 18, a Taisho-era home, are open to the public, and their interior decorations during the Christmas season are a highlight. The garden is about a 5-minute walk uphill from JR Ishikawacho Station.
Tips
Closed days are the 4th Wednesday of each month for the Diplomat's House and the 2nd Wednesday of each month for Bluff No. 18. Take a look inside while it's still bright, before the candles are lit.
