Lights color the West Exit station plaza, Morera Park, and the Due Bridge at the East Exit of JR Higashi-Totsuka Station - an illumination display right at the station. It typically runs from early November to mid-February (the 2025-26 season ran from November 1 to February 14), a notably long season, but the schedule and lighting hours for the 2026-27 season have not yet been announced, so please check the official website. Viewing is free. Since it's directly connected to the station, distances between spots are short, making it easy to enjoy even with small children.

Tips

Since there are highlights on both the west and east sides, it's a good idea to use the station's connecting passage to move between them. Since the return trip is right at the station, you can hop straight on the train even if the kids get tired.

Best time to visit

Evening, right after the lights come on. The hours when a blue tinge still remains in the sky make for great photos
