A planetarium on the 2nd floor of Yokohama Gate Tower (横濱ゲートタワー), just a 1-minute walk from Shin-Takashima Station on the Minatomirai Line. It is open 10:30–20:30 on weekdays and 10:00–21:00 on weekends and holidays (subject to seasonal changes such as in summer), and evening showings are a special perk of this downtown venue. General seats purchased online cost 1,600 yen for adults (junior high school age and up) and 1,000 yen for children (age 4 and up) (at the counter: 1,800 yen for adults, 1,200 yen for children); Premium Seats and Planet Seats, each with a flat rate for up to 2 people, cost 4,200–4,400 yen per seat online. With a starry sky filling the entire dome, it is the perfect way to close out the day.
