Wind Suspension Bridge (風の吊り橋)

Flow of the course

About this spot

This prefectural park sits against the backdrop of the Tanzawa mountains, with its symbolic large Wind Suspension Bridge (風の吊り橋) spanning the Minashi River (水無川). From the bridge you can take in the Tanzawa mountains and riverbed in one view, and there is plenty of room to play freely on the lawn plaza and by the river. Before stargazing, enjoy the Tanzawa scenery while it is still light.

Tips

If you plan to play on the riverbed, shoes you do not mind getting wet are reassuring. Please check the park's official information for parking and facility usage conditions.

Best time to visit

Afternoon. Visit the suspension bridge and riverbed while the sun is still high
