About this spot
A museum where you can learn about the nature of the Miura Peninsula and Tokyo Bay through hands-on experience, open 9:00-17:00 (last entry 16:30). Admission is 600 yen for adults (16 and over) and 400 yen for elementary and junior high school students. Its charm is observing the local nature up close, centered on the tidepool creatures living in the Kannonzaki sea right in front of it, and the exhibits are arranged to connect with the scenery you saw on the park's rocky shore in the morning. Different in flavor from a big aquarium, it is an exhibition rooted in the local sea for parents and children to savor at leisure.
