About this spot

A free park spreading along the banks of the Sagami River, open 7:00-18:00. With riverside lawns and walking trails, you can enjoy the flowers and nature of each season. Next door is Kamioshima Campground (上大島キャンプ場), and on weekends the park bustles with barbecues — a classic Sagamihara outdoor spot. Simply strolling at ease while feeling the river breeze makes it a pleasant place.

Tips

Admission is free. Closed during the New Year period (12/29-1/3). The riverside can be wet underfoot, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
