About this spot

A large park about a 5-minute walk from Motosumiyoshi Station (元住吉駅) on the Tokyu Toyoko and Meguro lines. The play plaza is lined with a ship-shaped composite play structure, another composite structure with a slide, and spring-mounted rockers, while the barefoot plaza, a small stream, and the lawn area all offer plenty of room to run around. The park also has a sculpture display plaza and the Kawasaki City Peace Hall (川崎市平和館), which conveys what Kawasaki was like during and after the war, making it a park that combines both play and learning. You can also enjoy seasonal color, from rows of cherry trees to autumn foliage.

Tips

It is just one stop from Musashi-Kosugi on the Toyoko Line. Get plenty of exercise in the morning to prepare for library time in the afternoon.
