The central library of the Yokohama City Libraries, a large library standing right near Nogeyama Zoological Gardens. Inside is the Parent-Child Floor of the Nogeyama Children's Library, a shoes-off space where parents and children, from babies to elementary schoolers, can relax and enjoy picture books together. The Parent-Child Floor is open from 9:30 to 17:00. The time spent checking, in reference books and science picture books, the animals met at the zoo that morning is the biggest treat of this course. The floor also gathers together books for children, which makes it easy for children themselves to find something they want to read.

Closed on facility inspection days (once a month), during the special book-organizing period, and over the New Year holidays. The Parent-Child Floor is open 9:30 to 17:00, so plan your afternoon schedule by working backward from the closing time.

Afternoon. We recommend opening the reference book while the memory of the zoo is still fresh.
