A city library inside Zushi Bunka Plaza (逗子文化プラザ), with the appeal of a station-front location: about 2 minutes on foot from Keikyu's Zushi-Hayama Station (逗子・葉山駅) and about 5 minutes from JR Zushi Station. You can drop by right after playing at the beach and take your time choosing picture books and children's books from the kids' shelves. It's open from 9:00 to 19:00 on weekdays, so you won't feel rushed even if you spend the whole afternoon reading. An afternoon spent at a library in this seaside town is a quiet time well suited to be the highlight of the day.

Tips

Open 9:00-19:00 on weekdays and 9:00-17:00 on weekends and holidays. Closed on Tuesdays (open on public holidays, with the following weekday closed instead), as well as during the New Year holidays (Dec 29-Jan 3), the library organization day (Jan 4), and special organization periods. Parking and restrooms are available.
