About this spot

A mandarin orange picking experience run by an association of mandarin farmers in Yugawara, held from October 10 to December 17 in 2026. Pricing is affordable, with all-you-can-eat mandarin oranges for 500 yen for adults, 400 yen for children, and 300 yen for toddlers, while souvenir mandarins can be purchased separately. You check in at the reception office (Doi 5-22-14, Yugawara) before heading to your assigned orchard. From the mountainside orchards you can look out over the hot-spring town and the sea, so you can enjoy the mandarin picking together with the view. There is a parking lot.

Tips

Checking in at the reception office first is required. Since you will be walking on sloped orchard grounds, non-slip shoes are recommended. Please check the day's opening status on the official Yugawara Onsen tourism website (yugawara.or.jp).
