About this spot

A prefectural park that makes use of three retarding basins (Shimoiida, Matano, and Imada) along the Sakai River (境川), with free admission. You can spot waterbirds and river creatures from the biotope observation deck, or take a leisurely walk through the plazas and walking paths. The Information Center has exhibits about river creatures, and entry is free. It's a waterside park that's perfect for enjoying nature observation with children.

Tips

The Information Center is open from 8:30 to 17:00 (October to February). You can take a break on the lawn or benches, so we recommend having lunch here.
