About this spot

A free botanical garden along the Nikaryo Yosui (二ヶ領用水) canal in Shukugawara, Tama Ward, Kawasaki City. It has a greenhouse and seasonal flower display gardens where you can take your time observing everything from familiar plants to rare species. Open 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM (until 4:00 PM from November to February). It's about a 7-minute walk from Shukugawara Station (宿河原駅) on the JR Nanbu Line, and strolling there along the waterway path makes for a pleasant route.

Tips

Closed on Mondays (including the New Year holidays). Parking is limited to just 4 spaces, so arriving by train is recommended. Enjoy your lunch on a bench or along the Nikaryo Yosui canal.

Morning to midday. A relaxing time to enjoy the flowers
