About this spot

A station on the Odakyu Tama Line and the gateway to the Kurokawa area of Asao Ward. It's close enough to reach from the Shinjuku area with about one transfer, yet the area around the station still has valley (谷戸, yato) fields and groves of trees, giving it the look of a true urban farming village. The potato-digging fields and the direct-sales store are both within walking distance.

Tips

The fields are within walking distance, but wear comfortable walking shoes. If driving, you can use the parking lot at the potato-digging event.
