A port on the southern shore of Lake Ashi (芦ノ湖), and the bustling center of Motohakone where sightseeing boats and pirate ships depart and arrive. From the lakeside promenade, you can look out across the water to the Hakone mountain range, and on clear days Mt. Fuji may even come into view. Restaurants and shops line the area, making it a convenient place to prepare for your outing.

Tips

The lakeside promenade is flat and easy to walk with a stroller. The area around the pier gets lively around boat departure and arrival times.
