Hayakawa Station (早川駅)
Flow of the course
About this spot
Hayakawa Station (早川駅) on the JR Tokaido Line is the gateway to a port town with a fishing harbor. Step outside and you will catch the scent of the sea, with scenery all around that feels every bit like a coastal town. This is the starting point of the route up the hill to Ishigakiyama Ichiya-jo Historical Park (石垣山一夜城歴史公園). Going on foot means a continuous uphill climb, so depending on your family's stamina, consider using a car or taxi.
Tips
If you walk to Ishigakiyama, expect a continuous uphill slope. If you have young children with you, traveling by car is the safer option.
