Flow of the course

About this spot

A large Odawara City park where big play equipment and suspension bridges spread across a wooded hillside. Admission is free, and opening hours are 9:00-16:30 (for the paid facilities and administration office). The children's train Nakayoshi-go (なかよし号) and the road train Boken-go (ぼうけん号) that run through the park cost 300 yen one-way for adults (junior high school age and up), 100 yen for elementary school students, and are free for preschoolers; a same-day common free pass covering both rides is 710 yen for adults and 300 yen for children. Parking for the day is 510 yen for Odawara City residents and 1,010 yen for non-residents. It's a day of running around and moving freely amid greenery.

Tips

The park is closed on Mondays (except public holidays), on weekdays immediately after a public holiday, and during the New Year period (December 28-January 3). Since it's an outdoor park, it's less fun on rainy days, so a sunny day is recommended. It mainly suits families with children from preschool through elementary school age, and buying the ride free pass also makes getting around the park part of the fun. Restrooms and parking are available.

Best time to visit

Plenty of time from morning through afternoon. The rides are less crowded earlier in the day
