About this spot

A seaside park with a pleasant grassy hill, spreading out on the sea side of the Cup Noodles Museum. Open all day, it offers a wide-open view of Yokohama Port right in front of you, letting you feel the passing ships and the lights of the opposite shore up close. After sunset it becomes a night-view spot where light shimmers on the water's surface, a Shinko district classic featured in Yokohama City's night-view guides. Take a break on the grass and enjoy the family transition from evening view to night view at a leisurely pace.

Tips

The waterfront gets cold quickly once the sun goes down, so a jacket is a must. It can be hard to see your footing in some spots at night, so hold your child's hand and choose a well-lit path back to the station.

Around sunset. The port looks most photogenic while the sky still holds a touch of blue
