About this spot
A viewing spot at the summit of Daikanzan along the Anest Iwata Turnpike Hakone (アネスト岩田ターンパイク箱根). It offers one of Hakone's finest views, with Lake Ashi (芦ノ湖) below and Mount Fuji (富士山) beyond it, and in the evening you can enjoy an unbroken sequence from the lake surface glowing amber at sunset to the starry sky and the lights at the mountain's foot after dark. The Turnpike is open from 5:30 to 22:30 (last entry 22:00), and the toll is 900 yen for standard and light vehicles, and 650 yen for motorcycles over 125cc. The Anest Iwata Sky Lounge (アネスト岩田スカイラウンジ) is located at the summit.
