About this spot

An environmental learning facility attached to a waste treatment plant in Ebina's Hongo district. From the observation room high up, you can look out over the city of Ebina and the surrounding mountains. It is open from 9:00 to 20:00 (facility tours from 9:00 to 17:00), closed on Mondays (or the following weekday if Monday is a holiday) and over the New Year holidays (December 29 to January 3), with occasional temporary closures. The observation room's night opening is held only during limited periods in summer and winter (in summer 2025, it was open for 7 days: August 19 to 24 and August 29, with extended hours until 20:00), so if you are visiting for the night view, be sure to check the official website for the dates before you go. Parking is available.

Tips

The most important thing is to check the official website in advance for the night-opening dates and closure days. Since you view it from indoors, it's comfortable even in cold seasons, but the parking lot and roads on the way there and back are dark, so watch your step and drive carefully.
