Kawato Farm (川戸ファーム)
About this spot
Located in Matano-cho, Totsuka Ward, Yokohama, this farm grows strawberries, blueberries, and seasonal vegetables. According to its official website, sweet potato digging is planned for autumn 2026 (October to November). It sits next to Yokohama Municipal Matano Elementary School (横浜市立俣野小学校) and is close to the Harajuku intersection on National Route 1, so you can stop by on the way to Enoshima or the Shonan area. There is parking for about 15 cars. From winter through spring, the farm also offers strawberry picking, growing six varieties: Beni Hoppe (紅ほっぺ), Akihime (章姫), Oi C Berry (オイCベリー), Amaekubo (あまえくぼ), Kana Komachi (かな小町), and Shiromitsuko (白蜜香).
