About this spot

An astronomical facility located at 482m elevation beside Lake Bogaike. In addition to the prefecture's largest 65cm reflecting telescope, it also houses a 4K digital planetarium. Admission is 620 yen for adults and 410 yen for elementary/junior high school students when using the planetarium, or 460 yen for adults and 310 yen for elementary/junior high school students without it (free for children under elementary school age). Opening hours are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Tips

Closed on Tuesdays (the following day if a public holiday, open during summer vacation) and during the winter period from December 1 to March 31. Please check the opening days in advance.
