About this spot

An astronomical dome attached to the 8th floor of Otani Sanso's Fuyo guest wing. Through a specialized telescope, you can observe seasonal stars such as the Perseid meteor shower and summer astronomical shows. Held daily from 19:30 to 22:10 (closed Tuesdays for maintenance), free and limited to hotel guests.

Tips

Reservations are required in advance — book through the reservation center before your stay, or at the front desk on the day. If the weather is poor, past observation footage is shown instead. As it's a guests-only facility, it cannot be used for day trips.
