呉服商・山田徳蔵が私財を投じて築いた約450mの洞窟に39体の観音像を安置した「洞窟観音」と、隣接する日本庭園「徳明園」からなる施設です。見頃は例年11月中旬から12月上旬。徳明園の池泉回遊式庭園をモミジが彩ります。
