Outdoor Play at the Forest Obstacle Course and Dappled-Light Walking Paths
About this spot
A natural park of approximately 35 hectares where the entire forest becomes a playground. It features wooden log obstacle courses, open spaces, and walking paths along a stream where you can move your body freely under the dappled forest light. The park also has relocated thatched-roof farmhouses, allowing you to enjoy both forest play and satoyama (foothill village) scenery all in one place.
Tips
Assume the obstacle course will get you dirty and bring a change of clothes. Don't forget insect repellent during summer. The terrain is uneven, so a carrier is better than a stroller.
Best time to visit
Allow 1.5 hours; weekday afternoons offer relaxed playtime
