A roadside station at the gateway to Minamiashigara, the birthland of the Kintaro legend. It features a popular farmer's direct sales stand with fresh vegetables picked that morning by local farmers, and a dining hall using local ingredients such as Soshu beef and Ashigara tea. The shop is rich in Kintaro souvenirs, making it the perfect stop for a family drive break and lunch.
Tips
The dining hall gets crowded between noon and 1 p.m., so aim to arrive by 11:30 a.m. or after 1 p.m. Diaper-changing tables and children's chairs available. Don't miss the Ashigara tea soft-serve ice cream.

Allow 1 hour; arriving at 11:30 a.m. before the lunch rush is most comfortable
