About this spot

A lake formed in the caldera of the Hakone volcano with a circumference of approximately 19 kilometers. From Hakone Pirate Ship port to Motohakone Port, enjoy approximately 30 minutes of lake cruising aboard a luxuriously decorated pirate ship. Step out on the deck for refreshing lake breezes, and on clear days, Mount Fuji is visible. Children will be captivated by the pirate statues and three-dimensional artworks inside the ship.

Tips

The deck can be quite windy, so secure hats carefully. Having lunch at the restaurant at Torogendo Port before boarding makes the afternoon run smoothly.

Best time to visit

Approximately 30 minutes aboard; the afternoon departures are relatively less crowded
