Gaze upon Mitsuishi from the Peninsula's Tip and Enjoy Shoreline Walks and Morning Ocean Breezes
About this spot
A scenic spot located at the tip of the Manazuru Peninsula. Three giant rocks lined up offshore are bound with sacred ropes, and the views where Sagami Bay's blue blends with the green of pine forests were selected as one of the "50 Scenic Spots of Kanagawa." At low tide, you can walk along the rocks to get close to them, making it perfect for observing marine life and photography.
Tips
The descent from the observation deck to the coast involves a long staircase, so wear comfortable walking shoes. Check the low tide times in advance for enjoyable shoreline walks. Restrooms are conveniently located at Cape Manazuru.
