A day-trip hot spring about 10 minutes walk along the Tama River from Okutama Station. Featuring the natural hot spring water "Hikawa-go Asaba-no-Yu" sourced from deep underground, enjoyed in both an indoor bath and open-air bath overlooking the gorge greenery. With an on-site dining area and rest spaces, it's the perfect place to rejuvenate after touring the limestone cave and lake.
Tips
Towels are available for rental but bringing your own saves costs. Weekend afternoons during peak seasons may have entry waits, so visiting early is recommended on busy days.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1.5 hours for bathing and rest. Weekends tend to be crowded in the afternoon.
