A seaside gathering place located near Tateyama Port. You can enjoy free admission to the market filled with local seafood and vegetables, the Nagisa Museum (渚の博物館) displaying creatures from Tateyama Bay, and the gallery of honorary station master Sakana-kun (さかなクン). After enjoying fresh Tateyama seafood lunch at the restaurant, take a post-meal stroll on the observation deck that juts out into the sea.

Tips

The observation deck that extends into the sea is a popular spot with views of Mt. Fuji across Tateyama Bay. For lunch, arrive before noon to avoid waiting. Free parking available.

Best time to visit

Allow about 90 minutes. The restaurant becomes crowded at noon.
