About this spot

Officially known as Oimatsu Shrine, this is the most historic shrine in Funabashi and is affectionately called "Funabashi's Ise Shrine" by locals. The tree-lined approach path is perfect for an evening stroll, and the grounds feature a rare lighthouse structure built in the Meiji period. Conclude your day by giving thanks for your family's health.

Tips

The grounds have many gravel paths, so using a stroller together with a baby carrier is recommended for safety. Located right next to Keisei Daijingūshita Station, making the return journey smooth.

Best time to visit

Allow 20 minutes. The grounds are quiet in the evening, making it easy to worship.
