Pass Through Vermillion Torii Gates and Pray for Safe Travel

About this spot

An inari shrine beloved as the tutelary deity of Haneda. Walking through the rows of vermillion torii gates and around the "Inari-yama" (small mountain) with its thousand torii gates feels like an adventure for children. With many visitors who work in aviation praying for safety, it's the perfect place to offer prayers for safe travel. The shrine's famous "Anamori Sand" is said to bring blessings if taken home.

Tips

A 3-minute walk from Keikyu Anamori Inari Station. The shrine grounds are compact and can be completed in 30 minutes. Shrine seals and cute fox fortunes are popular mementos for children.

Best time to visit

Allow 30 to 45 minutes. Afternoons are quiet for peaceful visits.
