About this spot
A unique shrine dedicated to hoshiimo (dried sweet potato), befitting Hitachinaka's status as Japan's largest hoshiimo producer, located in the precincts of Horiide Shrine. A succession of golden torii gates carries wishes for "obtaining what one desires," and has become a popular photogenic spot.
Tips
Located right next to Ajigaura Station, making it easy to stop by whether traveling by car. Photo lines can form in front of the gates, so please be courteous and take turns.
