A civic park spreading along the shores of Lake Kasumigaura, with a Dutch-style windmill as its symbol landmark. It's conveniently located just off the Rin-Rin Road, and the grassy plaza with a view of the lake is perfect for a picnic. Each spring features tulips, summer brings lotus flowers, and seasonal blooms color the windmill year-round.
Tips
It's recommended to buy bread from the Tsuchiura Station bakery and bring it along. The flower garden in front of the windmill features spectacular spring tulips and is an excellent spot for a couples' photo.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes required. The grassy plaza gets lively around lunch time.
