Panoramic Views of the Kinugawa Gorge from a 40-Meter-High Suspension Bridge
About this spot
A 140-meter-long pedestrian suspension bridge spanning the south side of Kinugawa Onsen town. From the 40-meter-high bridge, you can take in sweeping views of the scenic Tateiwa rock formation and the majestic Kinugawa Gorge. Children are thrilled by the gentle sway and sensation of crossing the bridge. An observation platform on the far side overlooks the hot spring town.
Tips
Free parking is available for easy access. The bridge can be windy, so watch out for hats blowing away. In the evening, the gorge glows golden.
Best time to visit
Approximately 30 minutes. Late afternoon when light illuminates the gorge.
