Soothe Your Weary Feet at Japan's Largest Foot Bath Corridor

About this spot

A full 60-meter corridor-style foot bath is the centerpiece of this Japan's largest foot bathing facility. Soak your feet in Shiobara's hot spring waters while gazing at the central mirror pond and garden for a relaxing experience. The drinking spring hall offers the chance to taste the hot spring water. After walking the waterfall route, this is the perfect reward spot in the second half of your journey.

Tips

The corridor foot bath changes in temperature and bottom stone stimulation at different points, offering an accupressure massage effect as you walk. Bringing a towel is recommended. Resting on benches while drying your feet is quite pleasant.

Best time to visit

Allow 45 minutes to 1 hour. The afternoon gets busier with day-trippers.
