About this spot

A prestigious Tendai Buddhist temple formally known as Sososuji, and one of the three major temples of the Kanto region alongside Aoyagi Daishi and Kawagoe Daishi. Worshippers from across the nation visit to receive blessings for avoidance of evil and directional misfortunes. The grounds feature many points of interest including a gold-gleaming main hall and a large bronze bell, making it the perfect start for a family journey to pray for a safe year. Traditional Sano ramen restaurants line the temple gates.
