Leisurely climb the 365 stone steps while enjoying food stalls and savoring the hot spring town atmosphere

About this spot

The symbol of Ikaho Hot Spring with 365 continuous stone steps. Souvenir shops, shooting galleries, and bun shops line both sides, and the deeper you climb, the richer the hot spring town atmosphere becomes. Along the way you'll find small channels where hot spring water flows and stones carved with poems by Akiko Yosano, making it a delightful walking path even at a leisurely pace.

Tips

The stone steps are not suitable for strollers, so a baby carrier is recommended. Breaking up the climb with games at the shooting gallery and food stalls helps children stay in good spirits all the way to the top.

Best time to visit

Approximately 2 hours required. The morning is relatively uncrowded and easier to walk
