About this spot

A gorge within walking distance of Omama Station, praised as the Yabakei of Kanto, a scenic spot. From the riverside walking trail you can enjoy natural rock formations such as Gorilla Rock and potholes. It's especially beautiful during the fresh-green and autumn-foliage seasons each year, and it's a course you can explore with kids in an adventurous mood.

Tips

The trail has many steps and isn't suitable for strollers. Use a baby carrier and comfortable walking shoes, and be careful not to get too close to the river.

Best time to visit

About 45 minutes for a walk. The fresh-green and autumn-foliage seasons are typically the best time to visit.
