Let the kids run wild on the wooden playground at Kellner Square

About this spot

A park spread across a lush, green hilltop just next to the Byakue Dai-Kannon statue. The hugely popular Kellner Square (ケルナー広場) features wooden playground equipment designed by German playground designer Mr. Kellner, and kids have a blast climbing, sliding, and taking on its challenging structures. The lawn area is also perfect for a picnic lunch or snack time.

Tips

Kellner Square has set opening hours and closed days, so check the city's information in advance. Easy-to-move-in clothes, a change of clothes, and a towel will come in handy.

Best time to visit

Allow 1-2 hours. In the afternoon, playing in the shade is more comfortable.
