About this spot
This is Maebashi's oldest and most historically significant urban park, spreading immediately next to Lunapark. It features 'Sachi Pond' shaped like Gunma Prefecture and a spacious lawn, where you can relax while watching waterfowl. The classic family routine is to play at Lunapark and then spread out a picnic in the shade.
Tips
The park grounds are flat and easy to walk with a stroller. Shops are limited, so it's reassuring to buy your picnic lunch and drinks before heading to Lunapark.
