Leisurely Visit to the Nationally Important Cultural Property Pavilion and Japanese Garden
About this spot
A wooden pavilion built as a state guest hall during the Meiji period and designated as a nationally important cultural property. The garden viewed from the tatami-matted main hall in shoin architectural style is quiet and beautiful, and wonderful that admission is free. This historic Japanese space provides a fresh experience for children.
Tips
Shoes are removed before entering, so slip-on shoes are convenient. Leaving strollers at the entrance and carrying children is recommended. It's often closed on Mondays, so check ahead.
