Enjoy summer bobsled and large play equipment in an expansive park
About this spot
A prefectural large-scale park spreading out at the base of Kanayama. Though free to enter, it features summer bobsleds, panorama chairs, and large athletic play equipment, offering plenty to enjoy for half a day. The planetarium at the Children's Hall is a lifesaver on rainy days. The grass plaza is perfect for spreading out a picnic.
Tips
Ride tickets are available at ticket machines on-site. Bobsleds draw crowds on weekends, so arriving right after opening is your best bet. The park has many slopes, so pushing a stroller will require effort.
Best time to visit
Allow 2-3 hours. Holidays are less crowded right after opening.
