Located in the town of Tsuruga, this ancient shrine is said to be one of the oldest in the Hokuriku region. In recent years, it has become a popular good-fortune spot, attracting visitors from across the nation as a "shrine for financial luck." The grounds feature points of interest scattered throughout, including the Ottsurugi Shrine (乙剱社) with deep connections to financial fortune and sacred rocks with intriguing legends. When combined with a visit to Hakusan Hime Shrine, your good-fortune walk pilgrimage becomes far more satisfying.

Tips

Just about 5 minutes by car from Hakusan Hime Shrine, making it convenient for shrine-hopping. Parking spaces are limited, so during busy periods, consider using nearby parking lots in the tourist area. If you plan to receive an ema (sacred plaque) or stamp, allow time to visit during office hours.
