A roadside station at the gateway to Hakushu, the famous water village, where visitors can freely collect and take home natural spring water from the Southern Alps at the water-filling station on the grounds. The direct sales corner features highland vegetables from Hakushu and Hokuto City, rice grown with famous waters, and local specialty products, with treasure-hunting opportunities even in the evening. True to the region's water-conscious character, seasonings and sweets made with famous spring water are beloved souvenirs. This is the perfect ending point where you can bring the taste of famous water you've experienced throughout the day directly into your daily life.

Tips

Bring empty plastic bottles or containers for water collection (the shop also sells containers). Popular vegetables sell out quickly, so if souvenir shopping is a priority, visit the direct sales corner first. Located conveniently along Route 20, it's an easy rest stop before heading home.

Best time to visit

Approximately 30 minutes. Late afternoon before closing means shorter checkout lines and easier shopping.
