A comprehensive public park developed by Toyokawa City with free admission, featuring a small aquarium called 'Gyogyo Land' (ぎょぎょランド) that exhibits freshwater fish inhabiting the Toyokawa River. You can observe river fish swimming leisurely up close in their tanks, and it serves as a reliable refuge on rainy days. The park offers an animal interaction area with goats and ponies, large play equipment, and expansive lawn—ideal for grandchildren to play freely. Also known as a scenic spot for seasonal flowers such as plum and Japanese iris, the park allows each generation of a three-generation family their own way to spend time: grandparents enjoy leisurely flower walks while children play on equipment.
Tips
Admission, parking, and the aquarium are all free—excellent value. Check the park's opening calendar before visiting, as there are closure days and varying operating hours for different facilities.
