After hiking, take a breather at a café and cool down with shopping
About this spot
The perfect way to wrap up your hike—a large shopping mall spreading across the center of Minoh City. With the extended opening of the Kita-Osaka Expressway Line in 2024, the final station at Minoh Kayano (箕面萱野) connects directly to the mall, making access even more convenient. The open-mall format with the Senri River flowing through its grounds offers a refreshing atmosphere ideal for cooling down after completing the trail. With abundant cafés, restaurants, and sweet shops, enjoy a well-deserved treat to celebrate conquering the trail. Fashion, miscellaneous goods, and food stores are also well-stocked, perfect for leisurely shopping and chatting about today's memories. If you missed buying fried maple leaf tempura on the trail, you can pick up souvenirs here before heading home.
Tips
Direct connection to Kita-Osaka Expressway Line's 'Minoh Kayano' Station. From the trail, take the Hankyu bus from Minoh Station or walk about 20-25 minutes. Extensive parking is available, though early evenings on weekends can get crowded, so plan ahead. The return trip from Minoh Kayano Station to the Umeda area requires no transfers, which is convenient.
Best time to visit
Approximately 2 hours. Around 3 PM, take a breather at a café, then shop before the evening rush.
